01

Choose one area for the day

Group nearby places together. Allow time for Bali’s winding roads and changing traffic, rather than squeezing in another stop.

02

Pack for water and walking

Bring swimwear where appropriate, a towel, drinking water, sun protection and footwear suited to wet paths.

03

Let the place guide you

Check the weather and venue guidance before setting out. Respect ceremonies, dress requirements and restricted areas.

04

Leave it as beautiful as you found it

Take your litter with you, refill your bottle where possible, and support local guides and small businesses along the way.

BEFORE YOU GO

A few things
worth knowing.

A little clarity, so you can enjoy the journey.

Are all springs in Bali hot springs?

No. Bali has both thermal springs and other natural freshwater springs. Banjar is known for warm bathing pools, while Tirta Empul is a sacred spring-water temple, not a hot-spring resort.

Can I book tickets on Bali Springs?

Bali Springs currently provides travel inspiration and destination information. Our destination links open Google Maps. Confirm tickets, opening hours and any reservations directly with the venue or your chosen operator.

What should I know before visiting a water temple?

Water temples are active places of worship. Follow the dress code and guidance given on site, respect worshippers, and ask a local attendant before joining any ritual or taking photographs.

Where should I base my trip?

Choose accommodation near your main interests: the Ubud and Tampaksiring area for cultural visits, Kintamani for the Lake Batur landscape, or North Bali for Banjar and the surrounding region.
